Mattie-Queen Heart was born out of the necessity to offer safety, stability, and a renewed sense of hope to women facing displacement due to domestic violence and homelessness. In our community of Ravenna, Ohio, we recognized a dire need for shelter and housing resources dedicated to empowering vulnerable women. Our goal is to provide a haven that not only offers physical security but also fosters emotional and psychological well-being.
Founded by Fallon Juma, a dedicated advocate for women's safety, Mattie-Queen Heart is committed to creating a sanctuary where women can find refuge and receive the essential support needed to transition back into independent living. We understand the challenges and uncertainty of rebuilding one's life, and our services are designed to ease this journey by offering comprehensive assistance and guidance.
